Who is Iwatsu?

Iwatsu is first in delivering and improving the key telephone system to the U.S.

1938 (Japan)  Iwatsu is founded in Tokyo, Japan
1959 (Japan)  Iwatsu releases a key system to Nippon Telephone and Telegraph.
1975 (US)   Iwatsu America is incorporated in New Jersey.
1979 (US) Iwatsu releases Omega III. Among the first microprocessor-controlled telephone systems available in the U.S.
1984 (US)  Iwatsu releases the fist key system with single line telephones.
1989 (US)  Iwatsu releases the First ADIX Digital Communnications Systems.
1995 (US) 
Iwatsu Japan manufacturing facilty attains ISO-9002 certification.
1998 (US)  Iwatsu introduces the ADIX APS Digital Communications System.

Today Nippon Electric Company is known as NEC. AT&T was Lucent and now Avaya. Iwatsu is still Iwatsu, providing manufacturing for other telephone systems companies and Iwatsu Adix systems exclusively for its own dealers.
